Legacy netBooter Series PDU Support

Need assistance with a legacy netBooter PDU? We’re here to help.

While these products are no longer part of our active lineup, our support team can assist with troubleshooting, documentation, and identifying your model.

⚠️ Note: Firmware updates are no longer available or being released for legacy series PDUs.

Legacy Series PDUs

All netBooter PDUs—both legacy and currently active—have model numbers that begin with NP. To determine whether your unit is part of the legacy series, look at the second part of the model number (immediately following the numeric portion) and identify the first 1–2 letters in that section.

Examples:

  • NP-0801D(T) → second part: D(T)
  • NP-02B → second part: B

Currently Active netBooter Series:
  • B, DU, and DX: These models are still active and supported. Please visit our Resources & Support page for ongoing support information.

Legacy netBooter Series (No Longer Supported with Updates):
  • BU, D(T), DT, D(S), DS, and other variations not listed above.

In some cases, legacy D* netBooter models may be upgradable to current-series DU models, depending on system compatibility. Please contact our Support Team to explore upgrade options.

Additional Legacy Models
  • Any PDU with a model number beginning with EIO is also classified as a legacy product.
