Booting in Static Mode
If you require static IP addressing mode, you can enable it in any of the following ways:
- Through the serial console
- Through the web UI, by first connecting over static IP
- By pressing and holding the pin in the front "RST" hole for 10 seconds while powering on the device. The pin must be held before and during power-up.
Resetting to Factory Defaults
The PDU must already be powered on before pressing the RST button.
- Press and hold the RST button for 9–12 seconds, until the AC Current Amps reading resets. Release the button as soon as the AC current amps reading turns off.
- This resets all settings, including the admin credentials.
- Power to the outlets will not be affected.
Note: Holding the RST button too long (20+ seconds) will cause the PDU to enter static IP addressing mode. Release the button as soon as you see the AC current amps turn off.
